Tag Heuer Watch Company

The Heuer watches were the brain child of a Swiss watch maker Edouard Heuer, who opened his first workshop in the year 1860, in the Swiss village of St. Imier. Edouard Heuer’s list of achievements began to grow from the time he created the first stop watch with a precision of a one hundredth of a second. His inventions followed one by one with the first dash board stop watch for race cars, a miniature electronic timepiece, a micro rotor with an automatic movement and so on, so forth. As Heuer’s fame grew, the company was awarded the authority to furnish the official time services for renowned sporting events such as the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup and the FIA Formula1 World Championships. Heuer joined forces with Techniques D’Avant – Garde or better known to us as TAG, in 1985 when the companies were combined into TAG Heuer. Because of their look and their perfect Swiss technology mechanism TAG Heuer to date is a favourite among many sports personalities and the teeming numbers of sport fanatics. The TAG Heuer’s reputation has made it well known and much in demand all over the world. The TAG Heuer watches have endeavoured and successfully created a top position for themselves in the watch industry. TAG Heuer maintains its excellence of craftsmanship and its quality and continues to give the world its most novel and fabulous designs of watches.
